Our mission is to joyfully open our doors and our hearts to all, seeking to keep the teachings of Jesus Christ at the center of our lives, as we grow in God’s word together. We are a congregation that puts faith into service in the community and in the world.
William J Fleming, Jr. is the pastor at North Canaan Congregational Church. Each week Bill leads the church through our study of the bible. Bill communicates the truths of the bible with relevance and clarity. His vision is to lead our church to impact the community and world for Jesus by raising up men and women being transformed by the gospel. Bill lives in North Canaan with his wife, Sonya and three dogs. Their adult sons, Trevor and Ryan also live in CT.
Located in East Canaan, Connecticut on Route 44, North Canaan Congregational Church is a recognizable landmark. The church’s spire can be seen from miles away as this classic New England Meeting House sits in a long river valley, just a few miles from the Massachusetts border.
At 172 Lower Road, just off Route 44, our church is a beautiful venue for a wedding.
